What a great idea for a blanket. I always have sock yarn so this is a good idea to use left over yarn as well. I like the way the pattern goes in different directions. It makes it interesting. It is also good for a little one since they can pick out the colors and what direction they go in. This is a good project to do while watching tv. You just sit and simply knit and can use your row counter to keep track. Thank you for the pattern.

When you click on the link just delete the first 2 words, leaving "vexillo." It took me to the pattern when I did that.

Beautiful and simple, but the yarn used is extremely expensive. For the average person, this yarn would be very costly. Any DK yarn can probably be substituted
