This is an ADORABLE hat. The stitches are simple and this could be an easy project after tons of stress of making a sweater. I also like the design, and as it looks like, the warmth.

I am needing to know how many stiches to cast on for an adult sized hat. I will be using 4 open end needles.

This is not a 4 needle pattern. You must make 2 squares as specified in the pattern for the pattern to turn out. You cast on 30 sts. and make the square twice. Hope this helps.

I don't care what anyone says, those snowballs are adorable! I'm totally making any wearing this bad boy! Cindy Lou Who inspired!

That hat looks awesome! And it looks conferrable too:)

I might make this for a child... If I appeared in public with it I'd be afraid they might lock me up.... heh heh...

No, I won't be knitting it. lol

I like this hat and I'll be trying it - I'll be trying more snowballs all over - for kids and the young at heart!

I need a chemo cap and this looks like the answer-minus the snowballs.

The very first hat I made was such a mistake, my gauge was off, cir needles which "somehow" didn't circle.... bad yarn. Got so tired of it that I cut it in half, sewed it up and it is the cutesy hat..JUST LIKE YOURS...how fun. Watch your site, love the fun funky things you do, thanks so much....Juice
