The stitches in the baby blanket are stunning together. I think if this was knitted as a present for a new born any new parents would be delighted with this as a gift. And it is easily made unisex if the parents did not know what they were having before you start knitting.

I knit this in chenille and it was sensational! I did notice mistake because the pattern is easy only 2 rows in 8 that are different it is so easy to flip these two rows....I have to admit unraveling a few times at the start!

This baby blanket looks so soft. I love the small, simple cables and long to use them in other ways. It is also great to have a quick, pretty baby blanket pattern handy because I am always running short on time getting them done.

How come no one has noticed the drastic mistake with a few rows of the cables going right across the middle?

This beautiful and luxurious baby blanket is the perfect introduction into cable knitting. The small size and the number of repeats for the cables will have you knitting fisherman style knits in no time. The designers directions are easy to follow too.
