Quick question. It is saying double pointed needles but when I read the pattern I am not seeing where they are used. Am I missing something? I have never used double pointed needles so I am not even really sure what it would look like in a pattern. Thanks.

Going to give it a go. I hope it works out better than my others. The Downton one is the only one I ever had somewhat success with. This looks small enough to take when I travel for something to do in the hotel room. We will give it a shot!

What a great pattern simple easy to construct and it looks great I am just now starting my decreases and have about hours in it so far I am new to knitting this is my rd hat and my rd in-the-round project I did make a big mistake out of the gates I did not realize that a stockingette stitch is done differently on round needles than on straight so my first inches were done with a knit row a perl row etc The effect however may work out really well it created a thicker bottom part which I think is going to make that rolled brim really nice For other newbees looking at this pattern if you are working in the round you get a stockingette just by knitting each row over and over thank you YouTube I built this one for a friend with a small head and very…Read More short hair so I used the smallest pattern size When I make the next one I will definitely go up to the middle-size Thank you for the pattern I cannot wait to make another one
