Easy Latte Boot Cuffs
Easy Latte Boot Cuffs

These Easy Latte Boot Cuffs might be the simplest boot cuff knitting pattern to pop up this season. Using only knit and purl stitches, these knitted boot cuffs are perfect for beginners looking to knit something more interesting than a scarf or potholder. This free knitting pattern is also a great way to use up leftovers in your yarn stash, if you have some bulky yarn you're looking to get rid of. And while this knitted boot cuffs pattern looks great as shown in latte, they'd be equally as attractive in other fall colors, like cream, orange, or brown.

Such an easy pattern to work up quick. Guess what all my boot wearing friends are getting for gifts this year? They are not 13" long as the designer stated in her comments. They are knitted from side to side and not from top to bottom. Some knitters were confused. This is also a pattern for a Bulky Weight (5) yarn. Works up quick and great way to use up your odds and ends in your stash.

Boot cuffs are so fun and quick to work up and it is an accessory you want a million styles and colors of. It is also a great project for using up left over scrap yarn balls. I really love the simple style of these and because it only uses ribbing or stockingnette stitch it is an easy project to work on while you are watching TV.

Great stash buster. So quick and easy works up fast. Great for beginners.

The Latte Boot Cuff pattern is a quick and simple pattern for all knitters. These could be made up in less than two hours. You could also use left over yarns to make these up. I am looking forward to make a pair of these tonight. Looks like a good pattern to try.

I must admit that I have never owned or worn a pair of boot cuffs. Living in South Florida, we dont have much need for cooler weather fashion. I have wanted to broaden my crafting skills and with all the comments on this pair, I would say they are a winner. They look easy enough, so I might make a few pairs for my Northern friends.

so quick and easy.. made them to go with a scarf and wide headband for those chilly nights...

Oh my word do I love these boot cuffs! This pattern has been put on my list of "stash busters" to use up my leftover yarn from bigger projects. I really like the simplicity of this pattern. I this that I will teach this one to my niece, who is just learning how to knit. I'm sure she would love creating something fashionable on her own! I definitely think that these will look super cute with my tall boots. I will probably whip some up in a bunch of different colours to give out as gifts as well.

Great idea. I have actually never tried to wear something like this but I do keep seeing them around. They are really cute Seems like an easy enough pattern. I may give it a go. I like the idea of weight 4 too. Perhaps both, I do seems to have a lot of bits sitting around. I think the purpose is to keep the air out at the top...and they are cute.

I am in love with these boot cuffs! They are so simple to make, and they look great with all kinds of boots. I wear them with calf boots and combat boots. This pattern is great for the beginners too. Has anyone tried making these with yarn weight 4, instead of a bulky yarn?

I am curious to know...what exactly is the purpose of bootcuffs? Are they supposed to keep a tiny section of your calf warm, or are they more of a fashion statement? I see lots of cool patterns for these, but am a bit unclear on their function.

fashion mostly. However, if you make them longer ( towards your ankles ) they will keep your legs pretty warm. Careful making them too long where it makes your ankle area bulky and uncomfortable.

.. thinking that they also keep that "chill" from going down the leg.. and if playing in the snow could keep the snow from going down... plus they are kinda cute.

I made a pair of leggings out of sock yarn years ago and it took me the longest time! But, if you're going to extend the boot warmers I definitely recommend using thinner yarn.

These are great. I wear hiking boots and sometimes combat boots even construction boots as I wander through the bush with my cameras, or wander in rocky areas (this area is almost solid rock) with the dogs and use boot cuffs to protect my skin from the boots -- these seem to be quick to knit so I can have new ones for Tuesday!! stocking stuffers too - thanks

These are precious (and practical) for the winter months! They would make great homemade Christmas gifts as well!

Welp. That's it. I need these in my life. As someone who religiously wears combat boots (seriously, I've worn them all summer long), this would be a nice way to mix it up a bit come winter. I can also make a pair for my sister. They're just that easy!
