The little Snowflake beanie is so adorable. Great way to practice my cable skills. I personally like the look of a knitted hat. This would be a very sweet hat to make as a gift and to donate to new mamas. Much warmer than most you can find in stores.

Have to admit that I am not fond of knitting tuques, beanies, and that type of hat. Actually I have no babies to knit for, but this hat is adorable, so much so that even I have to knit it. Someone I know will have a baby who will look adorable wearing it - may have to knit it twice - aran colour, and it would be wonderful in mint - for that matter, soft blue and a pink.... maybe I could learn to like knitting hats...

The cable pattern hat looks cozy! I love hats that have cables and the pompom makes it simply adorable. This seems like a great one to knit in a soft blue for a friend's baby boy who turns one next month! Has anyone made this hat? And are you happy with the way it turned out?

Have you tried this craft? What did you think?

what is a slip stitch

Hey Ms. Alice, A slip stitch is simply a stich that is moved from the left needle to the right needle without being worked.

So can I get 'tiny angel' somehow?

I clicked on Tiny Angel Hat from two different AllFreeKnitting emails and both times was taken to this pattern. How did Tiny Angel hat make it to pattern of the week if you cannot link to it????

Yes, I did the same as gulley Diana 3561792. Oh well......

I clicked on Tiny Angel hat and it brought me to this pattern, Hmmm.
